This group has recently been rethought.  It will be led by Anna Javed (HMPPS) and Kizzy Felstead (Co-Chair LAPB).  At the initial meeting for interested parties on the 16th May 2019 there was good interest and exciting actions to move the group forward. Since this date we have had several well attended and productive meetings.

The group have agreed a Terms Of Reference for the group. As a group we have decided upon inviting speakers to subsequent meetings to discuss themed topics.

The Equal Treatment Bench book is an interesting and thorough record of the groups and backgrounds of those who become involved in the justice system.  This is circulated around magistrates.
